My journey started back in September 2018 and I wanted to revisit each of the continents except Antarctica (visited in 2010). South America is the last of the six for me to revisit and I’m looking forward to the warm weather, new cultural experiences and many wine tastings. This trip will take me to Brazil, Argentina, and Chile.
Here is my itinerary for the next two weeks and I plan to blog about the trip along the way every few days. Stay tuned…
If you’ve visited before, send me a message of things I should see or do in my free time.
I remember the town square in Cuzco as being a great place to get a real “pulse on the people” and the goings on of the city. Every imaginable need was met with all the different shops around the square from churches to restaurants to pharmacies. I also remember the stray dogs that always made me feel a bit sad for them, and the women with very young children that often had handcrafted goods they were selling in and around the square. I also remember the native music playing during the afternoons in the square as well.

Cusco is a great place to visit. I won’t be going there this time around but enjoyed my visit back in 2007… my first time to South America.
